A Blessing in the storm…
To the mom who feels she will never see the end of the current storm she is facing, it is just too much… Listen to the Word of God for you.. Isaiah 40:28 ‘Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Never faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.’
I bless you with knowing deep in your spirit that you are not alone. I bless you with knowing that God, the creator of the universe knows all the details of your situation intimately and He does not grow weary, He does not sleep. He is there for you night and day… I bless you with turning your eyes towards Him, looking into His face and seeing throughout His Love for you. I bless you with knowing in your deepest struggles He is not only there for you, He is carrying you through. In the times that you look back and see only one row of footsteps, I bless with hearing you Father say to you ’My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was when I carried you’. May this be such a reality in your life, that you never again feel alone.
I bless you with experiencing His peace. Even when you cannot see anything changing, that you will know Him as your comfort, your resting place, your Rock.
Isaiah 40:29 -30 says, ‘He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary…..’ In this time of being at the end yourself, I bless you with meeting Him as your new beginning. I bless you with strength from His right hand and experiencing His power at work on your behalf.
I bless you with experiencing your Father picking you up and holding you close. I bless you with feeling His loving gaze on you and knowing that even though the enemy will lie and steal and do everything he can to make you feel alone in this, your Father NEVER left you. Hebrews13:5 assures us of this promise, ‘…For He himself has said, ‘I will never leave you not forsake you.’ So we may boldly say, ‘The LORD is my helper, I will not fear. What can man do to me?’ This promise of God is throughout His Word and I bless with you with knowing God will NOT leave you. He cannot go against His Word. So every lie the enemy has told you that you are alone and no one cares, is just that – a lie. As you face this battle, may God reveal himself to you in new ways, may He show you answers you could never imagine, may you grow in intimacy with Him. I bless you with you looking back over all this and seeing yourself stronger, braver and closer to the One who NEVER leaves you.
Lastly I want to bless you with joy in this season. Nehemiah 8:10 says ‘… Do not be worried, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’ I bless you with newfound joy, not a joy from earthly things or from emotions, but from something deep in your spirit knowing God is for you. I bless you with finding so much comfort in this knowledge and knowing that the joy of the Lord will sustain you in this stormy battle. May you experience the true joy off the Lord and may His joy be your strength as He daily reveals to you the ways in which He sees you through this… I bless you in the name of Jesus, who died so we will never be alone again, who died so we can have everlasting peace. Who established our victory and Who is right now interceding for you by the Father. Amen
